Unity3D + Kinect + Arduino
Hello everyone, good morning.
Well, after hearing a lot about Arduino I decided to study a little about it and see its features (I've already played a lot with PIC's and 8051). In the end, it is very cool and has a very fast USB interface, where you can work with its outputs dynamically. Using parts of another project where I worked with Kinect, I decided to make a system that simulated a real house controlled by Arduino and Kinect, using the Unity3D engine as the systems integrator. I made a small model of everything and the result is shown below. Attention: Video best viewed in 1080p and full screen.
Another important point to highlight is that the system can also control real appliances and lamps, through relays. A small example is shown in the project with a small lamp, but which uses the 127V AC power grid as its energy source. Therefore, it is possible to control any equipment in your home through gestures (future project for when I have my own house, hehe). Well, that's it, I hope you liked it, see you later!
